For Christmas, Donna got me a light stand. The flash is no longer tied to the camera, but is connected with a 15 foot cable. For me, this has transformed flash from something I use as a last resort, into something that is fun to experiment with. Here, the flash is to the right of, and behind the camera, almost at ceiling height. I could get on my knees and make the shot from "dog level". Photo taken with Canon 28-135mm EF IS lens at ISO400. 1/250 sec at f/5.6, flash at full power 35mm.
